Our group had a great time! The crew was very knowledgeable and awesome to be around. There were five of us, and everyone caught fish. We hope to come back again in the future. For first-timers who have never been on a fishing trip, the 4-hour trip was perfect.

Captain Louis and his crew were amazing! This was our first trip with them, and definitely not our last. We caught plenty of bluefish, which were very tasty, along with a few Spanish mackerel. Grayson was great at answering all of our random questions and was a big help throughout the trip. 10/10, we would absolutely do it again. Thank you, Captain Louis!

We knew it was an out-of-season day and didn’t expect a heavy bite, but Captain Louis still put in the work to find fish. It just wasn’t in the cards today. Appreciate the effort as always, Capt Louis—looking forward to next time when the water warms up a bit more.

The captain was great from start to finish, answering all my questions before booking. We only had one of two possible days to get out on the water, and after Hurricane Erin, we weren’t even sure we’d get to fish. The captain mentioned the water might be a little choppy but assured us it was safe to go. We booked a 6-hour afternoon trip in the bay and ended up catching plenty of fish. The captain and first mate worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time and that everything ran smoothly. Despite the recent storm, the trip turned out to be an excellent experience on the water.

We had lines in the water shortly after leaving the dock and started trolling right away. The action came fast—we caught plenty of bluefish and even landed a Spanish mackerel. Grayson did a great job filleting all our catches, and we had an absolute blast. The boat was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone to move around. I’ll definitely be booking an offshore trip with these guys next time—they were awesome!

We booked a 4-hour morning trip, and the captain did an excellent job meeting our expectations for getting the kids on some fish. We started off targeting spadefish, and my 11-year-old daughter was excited to reel in a few. My 6-year-old son, on the other hand, fell asleep on the ride out and missed that part. At one point, my daughter hooked what was likely a black drum, but it straightened the hook—no surprise since we were using light tackle for spadefish. When the bite slowed, the captain switched things up and took us trolling for Spanish mackerel and bluefish to give the kids some steady action. We hit a big school of bluefish and had 2–4 hookups every pass for over half an hour. By the end, the kids had boated around 15 bluefish, and both were all smiles—especially my son, who had a blast reeling them in. The captain was knowledgeable and courteous, and the deckhand, though young, was enthusiastic and great with the kids. My friend and I are both experienced fishermen and fish biologists, so we know when someone knows their stuff—and he definitely did. He worked hard to make sure the kids had a great experience, which mattered most to us. Overall, it was exactly the kind of family-friendly morning trip we hoped for. The captain, boat, and crew all deserve top marks.

Went out on a last minute trip with Prowler Fishing Charter for a bottom fishing trip. Immediately got on decent Black Sea bass while fishing wrecks. Later we headed even further offshore to target tilefish. We caught a limit of nice tilefish including one citation at 12.3 pounds. Great trip!

Captain Louis and first mate Nate gave us the fishing experience of a lifetime. They got us on the Spanish Mackerel and it was all hands on deck. It was a Mack attack. Best fishing trip ever!!!
