The deep waters off Norfolk, VA have been producing solid results for bottom fishing this week. We ran offshore and put our anglers on a steady bite, dropping lines down to the ledges and wrecks where the fish were stacked up. By mid-trip, the box was filling fast with a variety of bottom dwellers.

What’s Been Biting:
We’re seeing great numbers of black sea bass, triggerfish, and a few chunky golden tilefish in the mix. Some keeper-size grouper also made an appearance, giving anglers a good fight on the way up from the depths.

Best Setup:
